The wind is softly blowing and the wind chimes are making a beautiful sound, however, they suddenly go silent, even though the wind is still winding its way through the porch. Startled, I look up to see what is going on. To my astonishment, an awesome angel is standing, not on the deck of the porch but in the air, his countenance aglow with radiant light and a glorious smile upon his shining face. He is holding the wind chimes in his hands, and as soon as he has my attention he lifts his hands and releases the wind chimes. At this point, the chimes begin to play, extremely clearly, the tune to a wonderful old hymn, "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name." I find myself singing the song written so many years ago.

All hail the power of Jesus' name! Let angels prostrate fall;
bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all.
Ye chosen seed of Israel's race, ye ransomed from the fall,
hail Him who saves you by his grace, and crown Him Lord of all.

Let every kindred, every tribe, on this terrestrial ball,
to Him all majesty ascribe, and crown Him Lord of all.
O that with yonder sacred throng we at His feet may fall!
We'll join the everlasting song, and crown Him Lord of all.

I was not singing this song alone - the angel was singing along with me. At the end of the hymn he said to me,

"These are days to discover more concerning the Master's majesty."


THE MAJESTY OF THE MASTER

 We are coming into a time of grasping the majesty of the Master more clearly, thus restoring much of the awe of the Lord back to His people. The Spirit of God is pouring fresh oil upon the book of Colossians. Take time to ponder Colossians 1:9-23,

     "For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the ]full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things-- That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and ]desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition].

     "[We pray] that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy, Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God's holy people) in the Light. The Father has delivered and [drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins.

     "Now He is the exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; He is the Firstborn of all creation. For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together.

        "He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent]. For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently. And God purposed that through by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled [r] back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross.

         "And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities, yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father's] presence.

         "And this He will do] provided that you continue to stay with and in the faith [in Christ], well-grounded and settled and steadfast, not shifting or moving away from the hope [which rests on and is inspired by] the glad tidings (the Gospel), which you heard and which has been preached [as being designed for and offered without restrictions] to every person under heaven, and of which [Gospel] I, Paul, became a minister." Christ truly is King of Kings and Lord of Lords: Paul writes  to young Timothy this outstanding truth 1 Timothy 6:15  Which in his times he shall show who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

"Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth." Rev. 1:5

"And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!" Rev. 19:6

ADVANCE TO VICTORY
    

This is the season of the Sword of the Lord and the Lord of the Sword.

This Day of Atonement commences with my quiet waiting upon the Lord. Suddenly, the silence is broken by a loud swishing sound. Quickly turning to look over my right shoulder, I am blinded by an intense, bright light. The rays of this light are more powerful than the noon day sun. Standing in this brilliant light, I see the Lord grasping in His right hand a gleaming, razor sharp, drawn sword. He lifts it high above His head. A bold clear command sounds from His lips,
    

"Forward - advance to victory!" His voice is so powerful that it shakes the ground and vibrates the heavens. 

The Spirit of God is encouraging each of us to awake from spiritual slumber, to arise to our post and advance. Advance: to move forward in position. The Spirit of truth is charting our course and making clear our journey; we must understand that our destination is Christlikeness. Only as we take on His full nature can we love a hurting world. It is by this type of love that all men will know we are truly His followers.

    

"A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another." John 13:33-35

JUSTICE AND JUDGMENT

The Spirit of truth will release insights concerning the sword of the Lord. Prepare to behold the Lord of hosts.

    

"So He said, "No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, "What does my Lord say to His servant?"" Joshua 5:14-15

Likewise, the Spirit will release understanding concerning the justice of God, as well as the judgments of God.

Continuing with this vision: it was clear, on seeing the Lord with His sword lifted, that He was ready to wield justice and judgments. Not sure of His intent, my heart was pounding so hard that my entire body shook. I watched closely as the Lord approached a person that had been bound by many different ropes and chains. Intuitively, I knew this was the present day church. With His sword drawn and raised as if to strike, I was so stunned that my thoughts suddenly became a loud cry,  

"Oh, Lord, are we are coming under great judgment?" He said in a powerful, confident tone,

    

"No, I've drawn My sword and I am bringing justice. My sword will cut away sin's cords of bondage, thus freeing God's people to run to the battle."
